Scientists and Horticulturalists from the Royal Botanic Gardens will host the Chefs' Manifesto crew for a morning at Kew to introduce and explore the most biodiverse postcode on earth. Find out what makes a botanic garden so unique and sets Kew apart from parks and other attractions in London.  Meet world leading scientists tasked with discovering, documenting and researching the plants and fungi upon which our world depends. 

Find out more about how we grow food at Kew and what chefs working on site do to engage with the work going on every day in a botanic garden to serve around 2 million visitors a year.  

Explore Kew’s Kitchen Garden, made famous in the BBC series Kew on a Plate, and get some unique insight into what the foods of the future might be as seen through the eyes of Kew’s experts in grains, legumes and wild crops. 

And finally get a peek inside some of the iconic and fascinating buildings as well as the secret corners of this UNESCO world heritage site which this year marks its 260th anniversary.
