Moong Dahl with Carrots By Chef Shrimoyee Chakraborty
Ingredients:
- 1 cup moong or yellow lentils
- 1 chopped carrots
- Peas (or any vegetable you like!)
- Butter
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon panch foron
- Salt to taste
- Lime juice
- Chopped coriander
Method:
Soak the moong or yellow lentils for a few
hoursIn a pressure cooker or pan add butter (as
much as you like)To the pressure cooker, add the chopped
vegetables and soaked lentils with the waterClose the pressure cooker lid and let it
cook until the lentils and vegetables are
cooked - approximately 15-20 minutesServe with fresh coriander and a zest of
lime juice!
