Register Now: Catalysing urgent action to address food and malnutrition crises February 2, 2026 4:00 pm

Overview

Start 2026 on an informed and action-oriented note by joining the Global Network Against Food Crises (GNAFC) and the SDG2 Advocacy Hub for a timely discussion on the state of food security and nutrition around the world.

In a context marked by increasing complexity, overstretched humanitarian and development actors, and mounting pressure on data and analytical systems, there is an urgent need for a shared, evidence-based understanding of the evolving state of acute food insecurity and malnutrition and the solutions that can break the cycle of crises

Building on the data and analysis produced by the GNAFC and its partners, this dialogue will support policymakers, advocacy experts, and other key stakeholders in identifying shared priorities and shaping evidence-based actions to prevent and address food crises.

With planned speakers from across UN agencies, civil society, international institutions and Hunger hotspot and donor governments, we hope this event will help mobilise the international community to take urgent action to avert further deterioration in 2026 and beyond, by pairing emergency response with long-term resilience-building efforts that break the cycle of crises and prevent famine.
