Putting Nutrition at the Core of Human and Social Development

France will host the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit March 27-28 in Paris. This marks a significant opportunity to mobilise stakeholders and commitments to put nutrition at the heart of humanitarian and development issues.
The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris will welcome governments, international organizations, research institutions, civil society, philanthropies, private sector and more, to dialogue and work together at N4G.
It will call for bold political and financial commitments to accelerate progress towards the achievement of global nutrition targets by 2030. France’s Ambition for N4G is to strengthen N4G and nutrition’s role in global development and align it with humanitarian and development policies. This includes mobilising financial and political commitments at both domestic and global levels, increasing development banks engagement, boosting civil society, private sector, and UN participation, and integrating nutrition across sectors.

The urgency for countries and all stakeholders to step up and ensure that life-saving and preventative efforts are maintained and elevated for people all around the world is stronger than ever.
