Good Food For All
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs. These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Good food is a foundation for everything, providing the energy needed to fight for a better future for everyone, everywhere. Without good food, no other progress is possible.
The Chefs’ Manifesto
The SDG2 Advocacy Hub facilitates the Chefs’ Manifesto, a community of 1200+ chefs from 92 countries, equipped with a simple set of actions to drive progress towards more sustainable food systems. We believe chefs can be powerful advocates for a better food future – inspiring people to make changes in their kitchens and communities and empowering them to call on governments and companies to also play their part.
Hungry for Action
The Hungry for Action campaign calls for both urgent humanitarian action as well as long-term systemic change to save lives now, build resilience and secure the future. The global campaign brings together civil society organisations and campaigners from across the climate, nutrition, debt, food security and food systems communities, and aims to raise the global food crisis to the top of the agenda, to secure vital financial reforms to break the cycle of crises.
Beans is How
Beans is How is a campaign to double global bean consumption by 2028. The campaign will look to amplify and make visible the importance of beans as a simple, affordable solution to our global financial, health and climate problems while uplifting policy and academic research, and galvanising significant stakeholder action to reach our ambitious targets and goals.
