Developed with the Council of Champions of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, the “Belém Declaration on Hunger, Poverty and People-Centred Climate Action” underscores that true climate resilience cannot exist without social justice — and that ensuring good, nutritious food for all is central to sustainable development.

The Declaration will be formally adopted at the COP30 Leaders’ Summit under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
