See who’s putting #beansonthemenu
It’s official - beans are on trend in 2025!
We are thrilled to see that @nytcooking has “beans on every menu in 2025” in their roundup of the major food moments that changed life in the last 25 years.
The backstory? #NewYorkCity has been a core focus for Beans... is How. Our #BeansOnTheMenu activations – both in 2023 and 2024 – collectively inspired 100+ restaurants across the boroughs to highlight beans on their menus.
We also partnered with NYC Government Agencies who pledged more beans in public procurement, AND we organised chef visits to inspire dialogue in older adult communities.
BUT beans aren’t just a trend. They are a delicious, simple affordable and nutritious solution to our global health, climate, and cost-of-living challenges.
So THANK YOU to all of the restaurants who made this possible and @kitchensense for all the strong collaboration.

What’s been eaten by humans for over 10,000 years, and will soon be found in classrooms across the UK? BEANS!
@tasted_feed and @BeansisHow are proud to announce “The Bean Curriculum”—three fun, sensory-packed lessons designed for 8–11 year olds.
Through ...sight, touch and taste, kids explore lentils, chickpeas, and beans while learning about #sustainability, #biodiversity, and where food comes from. The curriculum incorporates TastEd’s methodology of emcouraging children to interact with and taste food in a pressure-free environment, thus creating a positive experience.
Backed by partners @usdrybeans @BoldBeanCo, @Hodmedods, the curriculum will roll out to TastEd’s network of 1700 schools across the UK, and is also available free for teachers, educators, food champions and even parents everywhere.
