This Labour Day, we celebrate the people behind the food on our tables 🌾
Over 1.2 billion people work across global agrifood systems, and women make up 41% of that workforce. Yet their labour is too often underpaid, informal, and overlooked.
Those working in agrifood systems ...are climate leaders, entrepreneurs, and the backbone of resilient food systems.
If we want good food for all, we must invest in fair wages, equal opportunities, stronger protections, and real recognition for those who feed the world.
