In June 2024, Mercato Metropolitano partnered with @thefelixproject to host an innovative cooking contest, where 10 talented chefs turned surplus ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The challenge? To create dishes that highlight food waste reduction and sustainability.
🌟 Huge ...congratulations to @rebeccaghim, founder of @the.ferm.london, for her winning creation—a bold and flavourful cauliflower leaf kimchi & broccoli stalk Jangaji! 🥦This dish proves that every part of an ingredient can be transformed into something delicious.
Taste of London was jam-packed and buzzing with vibrant discussions and tasty #treats. Chefs @honouryourfood @spacey_chef @bettinas_kitchen and vanshikabhatia ran sessions discussing all things #beans and their amazing benefits from climate change to nutrition.
Attendees were treated to ...delicious bean treats from all the chefs showcasing that beans can be delicious and versatile!🫘
