Kala Chana Kebab By Chef Tarveen Kaur

Brighten up your Holi celebrations with this vibrant Kala Chana Kebab from Chef Tarveen Kaurโ€”packed with bold spices and wholesome flavour to add to your colourful festive day! This is rich in fiber, iron, calcium. Vitamin BG & overall a great source of Vegetarian Protein.

Ingredients:

  • Black Gram 200 gm
  • Chopped Onion 100 gm
  • Chopped Green Chilies 20 gm
  • Chopped Garlic 30 gm
  • Chopped Ginger 30 gm
  • Ghee 80 gm
  • Black salt 5 gm
  • Chaat Masala 2 gm
  • Black pepper 5 gm
  • Red Chilli powder 3 gm
  • Garam Masala 2 gm

Method:

  1. Soak the black grams overnight & pressure cook them for 20 mins in sailed water.

  2. Now add the chopped onion, ginger. garlic, green chillies & coriander along with the J)O\.vdered spices to the chickpeas.

  3. Make a coarse paste of this mixture & make 'Tikkis'.

  4. Now sear them till crisp from both sides in Ghee or clarified butter.

  5. Sprinkle some chaat masala on the Ready 'Tikkis'.

  6. Serve them with a home made mint sauce.
